The craze for Pinterest seems to be growing and growing everyday. Although it is definitely an alternative way to share information and find information, it gets messy and hard to follow most of the times. And then I came across Punchfork, the Pinterest of cooking! Definitely a delightful initiative.

re-reading and re-analyzing

I'm currently re-reading Change by Design, by Tim Brown. This books is full of good Design Thinking content, good examples, and other interesting elements.

Since I have the compulsion to take notes on everything I read, I went back to my notes, and just found one good piece of writing...

"If you are working with a philanthropic agency, design thinking can help you grasp the needs of the people you are trying to serve. If you are a venture capitalist, design thinking can help you peer into the future."

This is the first of several samples of color palettes I created from the photographs.

illuminated words: tim brown, on design thinking

It is always inspiring to read the articles of Tim Brown, one of the biggest precursors of Design Thinking. Between his thoughts, I find this line specially inspiring, due to its simplicity about an issue that many designers forget while immersed in the daily work.

"Designing is as much about doing as it is about thinking. Designers have much to learn from others who are more rigorous and analytical in their methodologies."
