Color comes from nature

I have many good friends. And many of them like photographing stuff, just like me. And some also photograph nature every time they can. So, I'm my own quest for inspiration in my daily surroundings, I asked them to send me/loan me some of their pretty photographs, to study how nature manages the creation of color palettes. This is the first of several samples of color palettes I created from the photographs.

illuminated words: tim brown, on design thinking

illuminated words

The lament of the graphic designer that he is not permitted to do good work because good work is neither wanted nor understood by his employers is universal. It is indeed very often true. But if the artist honestly evaluates his work he will frequently find that the ‘good work’ the businessman has rejected is really not so ‘good’.
- Paul Rand's Integrity and Invention (1971)
